Location
: Spain, Island of Mallorca, Illetas. The
hotel is located on a hill side, which makes it sometimes difficult to
use a manual wheelchair in the area around the hotel.

Time of visit
: July 1991.
Reception
: The entrance of
this hotel lays somewhat below the level of
the street, but there is a very nice ramp
giving you access to the hall with the
reception desk. A part of the desk is lowered
to wheelchair users level, so there is no need
to put you chin on the desk if you want to ask
something. The telephone is accessible for
wheelies.
Elevator
: The elevator has ample room for a wheelchair
user and his or her companion. The buttons
also have Braille inscriptions.
Rooms
: There are several
adapted rooms in this hotel. The rooms are
quite large. There is ample room to place a
third bed. A mini-bar cures your thirsty
feelings. And if you don't know where to put
you pesetas (or Euros), just use the safe in
your room. If you had one drink too much, and
need some fresh air, you can get on the
terrace and benefit from the view on the
Mediterranean. |
